Mar 04, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Basketball star Alonzo Mourning, a kidney disease patient, is lifting the spirits of more than 20 million Americans affected by the condition through specialized online greeting cards, called "Words of Strength." The free cards are especially for African Americans and Hispanic Americans, who are at increased risk for chronic kidney disease. Cards are now available for Kidney Disease Awareness Month.
