HORSHAM, Pa., Apr 12, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Centocor, Inc. today announced it has completed its acquisition of the former Wyeth (NYSE: WYE) St. Louis, MO, biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The transaction was announced on March 26, 2004.
Centocor will use this site to increase clinical material production for products currently in Centocor's pipeline. With the completion of this acquisition, Centocor now owns and operates four manufacturing facilities on two continents.
